Cooperation between the State Tax Service and the International Monetary Fund: focus is on the implementation of reformsChapter: News

Main matters that will be considered during the work of regular mission of the International Monetary Fund and priorities in cooperation were discussed during working meeting of acting Head of the State Tax Service Tetiana Kiriienko and expert of the International Monetary Fund Enrico Aav.

Participants of event worked out a number of suggestions for further cooperation, taking into account tasks set by the National revenue strategy until 2030, approved by the Government at the end of last year.

"We highly appreciate support of our partners and their willingness to continue implementation of joint projects. Currently, the State Tax Service is actively taking steps to reform the Service and tax administration processes, so we are interested in receiving expert assistance and implementing the best global practices, which is especially relevant on Ukraine's path to European integration" – stated Tetiana Kiriienko.

It is planned that work on the implementation of tax administration reform will continue, in particular, regarding provision of expert assistance to the State Tax Service in areas of: integrity, increasing level of compliance with tax legislation, improving organizational and personnel support of the Service.
