Prospects of the USAID PFM project were discussed in the State Tax Service Chapter: News

Prospects of the USAID PFM project and participation of the State Tax Service in this project were discussed during meeting by representatives of the State Tax Service and representatives of Mission of the United States Agency for International Development in Ukraine (USAID).

"We are grateful for the initiative to establish cooperation in terms of providing assistance in the implementation of measures provided for by the National Revenue Strategy of Ukraine until 2030. Digitization, improvement of tax administration, introduction of risk management system, increased transparency in activities of the Tax Service and taxpayers' trust towards Service – all these are its strategic directions" – emphasized acting Head of the State Tax Service Tetiana Kiriienko.

Tetiana Kiriienko, during the meeting, outlined strategic goals of the State Tax Service and necessary measures for the implementation of the National Revenue Strategy.

Separately, she noted that in order to successfully achieve the National Revenue Strategy’s indicators, the State Tax Service needs international assistance in the implementation of certain measures of tax administration section. In particular, it is about strengthening integrity, increasing level of compliance with tax legislation, improving processes of tax debt administration, organizational and personnel support of the State Tax Service, implementation of the IT projects in support of reforms.

Agreements were reached regarding detailed consideration of possible forms of development of cooperation between the State Tax Service and USAID as a result of the meeting.
