Intermediate results of draft project of the State Tax Service on informing payers about existence of debt

Payment of taxes is a constitutional duty of every citizen, from fulfillment of which depends state of local budgets, as well as socio-economic development of the state and level of well-being of its citizens.

In addition, revenues of taxes to budgets of all levels are a significant component of revenues and remains important means of stabilizing the state's economy during the martial law.

State Tax Service of Ukraine through the Contact Center continues information campaign of taxpayers about the tax debt existence from payments, control over payment of which is entrusted to the tax authorities, and the need to voluntarily repay such debts by transferring funds to budgets of all levels.

Reminder! Such draft project started on March 25 of this year and will continue for three months.

As a result of such information, almost every third taxpayer who responded to the Contact Center's calls found out reasons for their debt and independently transferred funds to relevant budgets without applying to tax debtors repayment measures provided for by current legislation.

Due to such measures, almost 15 million UAH were additionally transferred to the budget.

At the same time, should be emphasized the need for taxpayers to comply with requirements of current legislation regarding ensuring completeness and timeliness of payment of taxes, levies and payments, single social contribution, as well as taking measures to repay the debts of business entities.

Additionally, please note that you can view information about the state of settlements with the budget, including tax debt and requisites for its payment, using menu "State of settlements with the budget" in private part of the Electronic cabinet and in the mobile application "My Tax Service", tab "View about the state of settlements with the budget" of the "Services" section.

Also, payers in the Electronic cabinet, InfoTAX chatbot and mobile application "My Tax Service" receive notifications about the tax debt and the need to pay it.
