Regarding the business entities’ obligation to use RRO for jewelry sale

Territorial divisions of Tax audit of the State Tax Service on a permanent basis monitor and analyze information regarding business entities that make settlements with consumers for products (services).

There were more than 1300 business entities that sell jewelry in Ukraine with more than 2400 registered registrars of settlement operations (abb. RRO)/software RRO (abb. PRRO) as of May 1, 2024.

Currently, business entities that conduct settlement operations upon the product sale, including jewelry, have a statutory obligation to use RRO/PRRO and issue fiscal checks.

Tax audit units of the State Tax Service carry out systematic analysis of tax information regarding possible violations of settlement procedure, including in relation to business entities that sell jewelry.

According to results of control and verification measures organized in 2024, carried out at places of retail jewelry sale, numerous violations of settlement procedure were established, for which territorial bodies of the State Tax Service applied fines (financial sanctions) in the total amount of more than 270 million UAH.

Employees of the State Tax Service draws attention of all business entities that carry out settlement operations to the need and obligation to declare completeness of settlements (procurements) carried out through RRO/PRRO.
