State Tax Service has processed 1147 requests for obtaining public information since the beginning of 2024Chapter: News

State Tax Service of Ukraine has processed 1147 requests for public information over January – May 2024.

Of the total number, 1008 request was received by e-mail, 130 by mail, 8 personally from the requester and 1 by the telephone.

The biggest number of requests for obtaining public information came from individuals, namely 688 requests. 391 requests for public information were received from legal entities, 5 from associations of citizens without legal entity’s status and 63 from mass media representatives.

According to the consideration results of requests: 568 were provided with provision of information, 355 refused according to Article 22 of the Law of Ukraine № 2939-VI as of 13.01.2011 "On access to public information" and 197 were sent to appropriate information managers.

The vast majority of inquirers were interested in tax information, namely 77.1 percent from the total number of requests.
