Consolidated budget received 780.7 billion UAH in January – June 2024 Chapter: News

Taxpayers continue conscientiously support our state by dutifully paid taxes. Thanks to their responsible citizenship and patriotism, budget steadily receives such necessary funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and social payments to our citizens.

Revenues (balance) to the consolidated budget for payments controlled by the State Tax Service amounted to 780.7 billion UAH in January – June 2024 according to operational data. State budget received 580.6 billion UAH, local budgets – 200.1 billion UAH.  

Revenues (balance) to general fund of the state budget amounted to 528.3 billion UAH in January – June 2024. Scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine for revenues of general fund of the state budget were fulfilled by 111.4%. Herewith, VAT was reimbursed to payers’ accounts in the amount of 70.1 billion UAH.       

In terms of taxes, scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine were exceeded from the corporate income tax by 1.5 times (+47.9 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax – 3.3 percent (+3.1 billion UAH), excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) – 4.5 percent (+2.5 billion UAH), value added tax on products (works, services) produced in Ukraine, taking into account budget compensation – by 0.6 percent (+0.8 billion UAH),.

In terms of main payments in January – June 2024, the increase compared to January – June 2023 is from corporate income tax, namely 2.2 times (+79.7 billion UAH), value added tax on products (works, services) produced in Ukraine, taking into account budget compensation – by 1.5 times (+43.8 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax – 21.1 percent (+16.9 billion UAH), excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) – 16.8 percent (+8.4 billion UAH).   

Revenues (balance) to the consolidated budget from payments controlled by the State Tax Service amounted to 128.6 billion UAH in June 2024, including to the state budget – 98.2 billion UAH, local budgets received 30.4 billion UAH. 

Revenues (balance) to general fund of the state budget amounted to 87.8 billion UAH in June 2024. Exceeding of scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine for revenues to general fund of the state budget is 12.1 percent, additional revenues to the budget amounted to 9.5 billion UAH. 12.8 billion UAH of the VAT was reimbursed to payers’ accounts. 

Scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine were fully met from the income tax, namely 252.9 percent (+3.3 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax – 102.2 percent (+0.4 billion UAH), excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) – 102.6 percent (+0.3 billion UAH).

In terms of main payments in June 2024, the increase compared to June 2023 is from the income tax, namely by 2.4 times (+3.3 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax – 19.6 percent (+3.0 billion UAH), excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) – 30.9 percent (+2.7 billion UAH), value added tax on products (works, services) produced in Ukraine, taking into account budget compensation – 12.0 percent (+2.1 billion UAH).
