Representatives of the State Tax Service took part in the 28th General IOTA Assembly

Participation in the 28th General IOTA Assembly in the online mode was taken by acting Head of State Tax Service Tetiana Kiriienko. Theme of this year's meeting was "Applying data science to increase capacity and capabilities of tax administrations", which is extremely relevant for the State Tax Service, because it will provide information on international best practices for building capabilities of the State Tax Service in the context of modern digital administrations.

Administrative session was devoted to statutory issues, report on IOTA activities, presentation of IOTA work program 2025, as well as appointment of the Presidency for 2024/2025.

During technical session of the General Assembly, participants discussed key topics of practical application of data science methods in tax administrations. In particular, use of artificial intelligence to improve customer service and internal procedures, data collection and integration strategy, data visualization and reporting, as well as expansion of analytics and predictive modeling in tax administration were presented.
