Filling budgets of all levels in the cross-section of economic sectors in January – May 2024 Chapter: News

The biggest share in January – May 2024 in payment of taxes, levies and payments (collection) to the Consolidated budget of Ukraine is payment made by business entities in the following industries: 

"Whole and retail sale; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles" – 15.8%;

"Processing industry" – 15.2%;  

"Financial and insurance activities" – 14.1% of the total collection to the Consolidated budget of Ukraine;

"State administration and defense; obligatory social insurance" – 10.6%;

The biggest increase in payment in January – May 2024 relative to January – May 2023 occurred in the following industries: 

"Financial and insurance activities" – increase of 2.5 times or +60 billion UAH;

"Whole and retail sale; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles" – growth by 23.8% or +21.6 billion UAH;

"Processing industry" – growth by 20.4% or +18.3 billion UAH;

"Transport, warehousing, postal and courier activities" – growth by 44.7% or +14.5 billion UAH.
