State Tax Service has processed 1338 requests for obtaining public information since the beginning of 2024Chapter: News

State Tax Service of Ukraine has processed 1338 requests for public information over January – June 2024.

Of the total number, 1180 request was received by e-mail, 147 by mail, 10 personally from the requester and 1 by the telephone.

The biggest number of requests for obtaining public information came from individuals, namely 773 requests. 465 requests for public information were received from legal entities, 5 from associations of citizens without legal entity’s status and 95 from mass media representatives.

According to the consideration results of requests: 642 were provided with provision of information, 420 refused according to Article 22 of the Law of Ukraine № 2939-VI as of 13.01.2011 "On access to public information" and 256 were sent to appropriate information managers.

The vast majority of inquirers were interested in tax information, namely 77.2 percent from the total number of requests.
