To the attention of business entities that carry out retail fuel sale!

State Tax Service of Ukraine informs that its territorial divisions of Tax audit, in order to stop illegal activities in the fuel sphere and lubricant sale and to ensure transparency of business activities on the fuel market and to prevent tax evasion, analyze information regarding business entities that carry out retail in fuel sale on an ongoing basis.

There were more than 1.3 thousand business entities in Ukraine that carry out retail fuel sale, with which more than 6.7 thousand registrars of settlement operations (abb. RRO) were registered as of 01.07.2024.

State Tax Service reminds that there is currently legally established obligation for business entities that conduct settlement operations upon product sale, including fuel, to use RRO and issue relevant settlement documents (fiscal checks).

According to results of control and audit measures organized in 2024 at places of retail fuel sale (gas stations), Tax audit units of the State Tax Service established numerous violations of settlement procedure, for which territorial bodies of the State Tax Service applied fines (financial sanctions) in the total amount of more than 54 1 million UAH.

Tax audit’s territorial units conducted 107 actual audits of business entities that carry out retail fuel sale only in June 2024. According to their results, fines (financial sanctions) totaling more than 7.2 million UAH are expected to be added to violators.  

Work of the State Tax Service to identify business entities that do not record settlement operations and do not ensure transparency of operations by registering all fuel sale through fiscal registrars is actively ongoing.

It allows to search for RRO/PRRO check, verify its authenticity and stop illegal activities of individual traders.
