Consolidated budget received 593.1 billion UAH in January – July 2024

Taxpayers continue conscientiously support our state by dutifully paid taxes. Thanks to their responsible citizenship and patriotism, budget steadily receives such necessary funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and social payments to our citizens.

Revenues (balance) to general fund of the state budget amounted to 593.1 billion UAH in January – July 2024.

Scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine for revenues of general fund of the state budget were fulfilled by 110.8%. Herewith, VAT was reimbursed to payers’ accounts in the amount of 83.6 billion UAH.       

In terms of taxes, scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine were exceeded from the corporate income tax by 1.5 times (+51.1 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax – 4.8 percent (+5.3 billion UAH), excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) – 4 percent (+2.7 billion UAH.

In terms of main payments in January – July 2024, the increase compared to January – July 2023 is from corporate income tax, namely 2.2 times (+82 billion UAH), value added tax on products (works, services) produced in Ukraine, taking into account budget compensation – by 1.4 times (+46 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax – 22.7 percent (+21.6 billion UAH), excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) – 21.3 percent (+12.5 billion UAH).  

Revenues (balance) to general fund of the state budget amounted to 64.8 billion UAH in July 2024.

Exceeding of scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine for revenues to general fund of the state budget is 6.1 percent, additional revenues to the budget amounted to 3.7 billion UAH. 13.5 billion UAH of the VAT was reimbursed to payers’ accounts. 

Scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine were fully met from the income tax, namely 248.1 percent (+3.3 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax – 112.6 percent (+2.2 billion UAH), excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) – 101.5 percent (+0.2 billion UAH).

In terms of main payments in July 2024, the increase compared to July 2023 is from the levy and personal income tax – 30.8 percent (+4.7 billion UAH), excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) – 47.3 percent (+4.1 billion UAH), value added tax on products (works, services) produced in Ukraine, taking into account budget compensation – 11.9 percent (+2.2 billion UAH), income tax – 72.8 percent (+2.3 billion UAH).
