State Tax Service has processed 1548 requests for obtaining public information since the beginning of 2024

State Tax Service of Ukraine has processed 1548 requests for public information over January – July 2024.

Of the total number, 1339 request was received by e-mail, 198 by mail, 10 personally from the requester and 1 by the telephone.

The biggest number of requests for obtaining public information came from individuals, namely 874 requests. 560 requests for public information were received from legal entities, 5 from associations of citizens without legal entity’s status and 109 from mass media representatives.

According to the consideration results of requests: 718 were provided with provision of information, 509 refused according to Article 22 of the Law of Ukraine № 2939-VI as of 13.01.2011 "On access to public information" and 294 were sent to appropriate information managers.

The vast majority of inquirers were interested in tax information, namely 77.7 percent from the total number of requests.
