State Tax Service revealed legislative violations in settlement operations by medical centers and laboratories

During analysis of economic activity of providers of medical services, specialists of the State Tax Service identified a number of medical centers and laboratories, which carried out economic activity in violation of Ukrainian legislative requirements in sphere of trade, catering and services.

According to results of working out the specified information, 87 actual audits were carried out by bodies of the State Tax Service.

According to the audit results, numerous violations of settlement procedure were established, in particular, failure to conduct settlements through registrars of settlement operations or software registrars of settlement operations (hereinafter – RRO/PRRO), for which fine (financial sanction) totaling more than 2 million UAH was applied to violators.

Taken measures contributed to increase in the number of RRO/PRRO registered by medical centers and laboratories (additional 145 units) and a positive increase (by more than 58%) in making settlements using cash registers.

Specialists of the State Tax Service once again emphasize that compliance with requirements of the Law of Ukraine "On the use of registrars of settlement operations in trade, public catering and services", as well as official registration of labor relations with employees, is a positive reputation of the taxpayer and guaranteed avoidance of fine (financial sanction).
