Consolidated budget received 1 043.2 billion UAH in January – August 2024

Taxpayers continue conscientiously support our state by dutifully paid taxes. Thanks to their responsible citizenship and patriotism, budget steadily receives such necessary funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and social payments to our citizens.

Revenues (balance) to general fund of the state budget amounted to 1 043.2 billion UAH in January – August 2024 according to operational data. State budget received 766.1 billion UAH, local budgets received 277.1 billion UAH.

Revenues (balance) to general fund of the state budget amounted to 695.4 billion UAH in January – August 2024. Scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine for revenues of general fund of the state budget were fulfilled by 110%. Herewith, VAT was reimbursed to payers’ accounts in the amount of 95.8 billion UAH.       

In terms of taxes, scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine were exceeded from the corporate income tax by 1.4 times (+56.5 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax – 4.6 percent (+5.9 billion UAH), excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) – 3.6 percent (+2.9 billion UAH).

In terms of main payments in January – August 2024, the increase compared to January – August 2023 is from corporate income tax, namely 1.9 times (+93.3 billion UAH), value added tax on products (works, services) produced in Ukraine, taking into account budget compensation – by 1.4 times (+48 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax – 22.4 percent (+24.6 billion UAH), excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) – 22.2 percent (+15.2 billion UAH).  

Revenues (balance) to the consolidated budget in August 2024 from payments controlled by the State Tax Service amounted to 151.3 billion UAH, including 111.5 billion UAH to the state budget, 39.8 billion UAH to local budgets.

Revenues (balance) to general fund of the state budget amounted to 102 billion UAH in August 2024. Exceeding of scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine for revenues to general fund of the state budget is 5.2 percent, additional revenues to the budget amounted to 5 billion UAH. 12.2 billion UAH of the VAT was reimbursed to payers’ accounts. 

Scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine were fully met from the income tax, namely 114.5 percent (+5.4 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax – 103.4 percent (+0.6 billion UAH), excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) – 100.8 percent (+0.1 billion UAH). 

In terms of main payments in August 2024, the increase compared to August 2023 is from the income tax, namely 36.7 percent (+11.3 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax – 20.4 percent (+3 billion UAH), excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) – 26.8 percent (+2.7 billion UAH), value added tax on products (works, services) produced in Ukraine, taking into account budget compensation – 8.2 percent (+1.6 billion UAH).
