Work of the FAD mission of the International Monetary Fund on tax administration reform, in which representatives of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine and State Tax Service took part, has ended. Within the scope of mission, representatives of the State Tax Service presented overview of the latest developments regarding implementation of the National Revenue Strategy until 2030.
"We thank our partners for their advisory support. Provided recommendations became a significant support on the way to effective implementation of reform measures, introduction of modern standards in work of the Service" – stated acting Head of the State Tax Service Tetiana Kiriyienko.
The IMF experts noted significant progress in managing reform, implementing the best international practices, in particular regarding launch of the project "Reforming the State Tax Service of Ukraine during 2024-2030".
Work of recently established Project Steering Committee, which ensures prompt response to challenges arising during its implementation, was also positively evaluated.
In addition, achievements in direction of the tax audit reform were discussed. Attention of the State Tax Service and experts was focused on the implementation of electronic audit. As a result of meetings, further stages and plans for introduction and implementation of electronic audit, development of a comprehensive measurement system for audit and effective use of the CRM approaches were outlined.
Participants also discussed implementation state of tax risk management in the State Tax Service. It was noted that the State Tax Service has already approved methodological documents and information support.
