Representatives of the State Tax Service and American Chamber of Commerce discussed advantages of Territory of high tax trust level

During the meeting, representatives of the State Tax Service and American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine (ACC) discussed new project of the State Tax Service "Territory of high tax trust level" and advantages that this initiative provides to honest business.

Acting Deputy Head of the State Tax Service Yevheii Sokur informed event participants about the tax administration peculiarities introduced from October 1, 2024 for honest taxpayers, who will be included in the List of taxpayers with a high level of voluntary compliance with tax legislation.

According to Yevheii Sokur, this initiative is aimed at improving business climate, changing approaches to communication with the Tax Service and building transparent relations between the state and entrepreneurs.

"In the project’s essence is idea that the business that works honestly and meets clearly defined criteria can receive support from the state. And State Tax Service continues work on improving conditions under which business should be interested in transparent and honest interaction with the state" – noted Yevheii Sokur.

Among the main advantages provided by the Territory of high tax trust level for the taxpayers:

business entities included in the List are exempted from the vast majority of unscheduled, planned and actual documentary audits;

terms of in-place and documentary audits for receiving budgetary compensation are significantly reduced;

terms of providing individual tax consultations are shortened;

personal compliance manager will monitor possible tax risks of the payer’s activities and ensure consultation on their elimination.

"If you work honestly, meet the specified criteria – we invite you to the Territory of high tax trust level" – Yevheii Sokur addressed representatives of the ACC member enterprises.

He also informed present participants about requirements and criteria that payers must meet in order to be included in the List, as well as procedure for calculating the specified criteria and forming the List.
