Representatives of agrarian business were told about advantages of Territory of high tax trust level project

Representatives of the State Tax Service of Ukraine and Association "Ukrainian Agrarian Business Club" spoke about the new project aimed at supporting honest business.

As acting Deputy Head of the State Tax Service Yevhenii Sokur noted, Territory of high tax trust level is a radically new approach in the communication between the State Tax Service and business.

"As of today, honest business has received support from the state. Work honestly, pay taxes honestly – take advantage of tax benefits. These are transparent and open relations between business and the state, in which the former receives simplified procedures and access to professional assistance, the latter – stable tax revenues and, accordingly, development of economy" – emphasized Yevhenii Sokur.

According to him, taxpayers who meet established criteria will be included with their consent in the List of taxpayers with a high level of voluntary compliance with tax legislation. The first such list will be formed at the end of November this year based on results of the fourth quarter of 2023 and three reporting quarters of 2024.

Payers – members of the List will receive a moratorium on a number of documentary unscheduled, planned and actual audits. They will also have opportunity to receive budgetary compensation faster, as terms of conducting in-place and documentary audits will be shortened. Terms of providing individual tax consultations have also been shortened.

"For representatives of agrarian sector, budgetary compensation and, accordingly, involvement of working capital in further activities is very important. That is why shortening of audit periods for the VAT refunds is a significant advantage for taxpayers who are members of Territory of high tax trust level project" – outlined Yevhenii Sokur.

According to him, each such payer will have a compliance manager. This is a personal professional assistant who will monitor possible tax risks in the taxpayer's activities, provide advice on their elimination, notify about approaching tax obligations and help in correcting reporting errors, etc.

It is important that the payer will choose the communication method with compliance manager, one of which is a video conference. That is, the payer – member of Territory of high tax trust level will be able to get answers to questions promptly and conveniently.

Yevhenii Sokur called on representatives of agrarian business to join Territory of high tax trust level and take advantage of all advantages provided by the state.
