Meeting of representatives of the State Tax Service of Ukraine and Ukrainian Business Council: New opportunities for taxpayers and peculiarities of the Territory of high tax trust level

Advantages for honest taxpayers and new project of the State Tax Service "Territory of high tax trust level" were discussed during the meeting of representatives of the State Tax Service and Ukrainian Business Council, which includes a number of business associations and specialized associations.

According to acting Deputy Head of the State Tax Service Yevhenii Sokur, this project is implemented with an aim of creating new level of partnership between the Tax Service and the taxpayers, equal and fair taxation conditions for the taxpayers, increasing level of voluntary compliance with legislation.

For enterprises that will be included in the List of taxpayers with a high level of voluntary compliance with tax legislation, a number of preferences are provided, including moratorium on documentary audits, shortened audit period for budgetary refunding, shortened period of providing individual tax consultations and personal compliance manager.

"Introduction of personal compliance manager institute is a new level of communication between the business and the state, created to minimize tax risks, help business to avoid tax mistakes and risks, a kind of "tax advisor" for entrepreneurs" – stated Yevhenii Sokur.

Compliance manager is official employee of the Tax Service, assistant who will accompany the taxpayer, if necessary, assist in all processes related to tax procedures and provide the taxpayer with answers to all questions regarding correct payment of taxes.

"Our goal is to help the taxpayer in making management decisions and eliminate risks of legislative tax violations. Simple and open communication with the Tax Service is becoming more and more accessible" – emphasized Yevhenii Sokur.

He also informed present participants about criteria that business entities must meet in order to be included in the List of taxpayers with a high level of voluntary compliance with tax legislation, procedure for calculating the specified criteria, etc., and also called on representatives of the Ukrainian Business Council to join the Territory of high tax trust level.
