Yevhenii Sokur: Compliance manager for participants of the Territory of high tax trust level – advisor, assistant, professional

Each taxpayer, who included in the List of taxpayers with a high level of voluntary compliance with tax legislation, will have personal compliance manager. This is a reliable assistant that will answer all questions about paying taxes, help in making management decisions and avoiding violations of tax legislation. This was stated by acting Deputy Head of the State Tax Service Yevhenii Sokur, presenting to representatives of the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs the new project of the State Tax Service – Territory of high tax trust level.

"Compliance manager is not a fiscally oriented controller, but assistant who will accompany the taxpayer. Manager will assist as needed in all processes within the State Tax Service related to tax procedures related to the payer. This is not about audits or control, but about establishing interaction between the payer and the state" – stated Yevhenii Sokur.

All contact information about the compliance manager will be sent to private part of the Electronic cabinet. At the same time, the payer will be able to choose convenient format of interaction and frequency of communications. Such flexible system will ensure full transparency and efficiency in solving tax matters.

Compliance manager will not only inform about legislative requirements and restrictions, but also help develop the best strategies for fulfilling tax obligations and eliminating potential risks of violating tax legislation. This includes a detailed analysis of financial operations, search for the state support tools that can be used by the payer. Also, if necessary, compliance manager will provide oral tax consultation.

Yevhenii Sokur, during event, also told what taxpayers can be included in the List of taxpayers with a high level of voluntary compliance with tax legislation and what tax benefits they will receive.

He particularly drew attention of business to functioning of the State Tax Service’s sub-site "Territory of high tax trust level", where all necessary information about this project is posted. Payers will be able to learn about the average indicators of paying taxes to the budget and average salary in their industry, check their own indicators, etc.
