Representatives of the State Tax Service and Associations of Taxpayers of Ukraine discussed benefits of the new project "Territory of high tax trust level"

New mechanism for supporting business during the martial law was launched by the State Tax Service of Ukraine. Project "Territory of high tax trust level" is a change in approaches to the taxpayers’ communication with the Tax Service and building of transparent relations between the state and entrepreneurs. This was stated by acting Deputy Head of the State Tax Service Yevhenii Sokur during the meeting with representatives of the Associations of Taxpayers of Ukraine.

Administration peculiarities of taxes, levies and payments for honest taxpayers have been introduced since October 1, 2024. Such taxpayers will be included in the List of taxpayers with a high level of voluntary compliance with tax legislation and will be able to have tax benefits.

"This is, first of all, a moratorium on conducting certain types of audits. That is, such entrepreneurs are exempted from the majority of documentary unscheduled, scheduled and actual audits. Terms of the in-place and documentary audits for receiving budgetary refunding are also significantly reduced" – stated Yevhenii Sokur.

In addition, terms for providing individual tax consultations are being shortened for the List participants and personal compliance manager is being introduced. This is a completely new role in the Tax Service’s system, designed to help business avoid tax errors and risks. This is a kind of "tax advisor" who will advise and accompany the payer in all processes within the State Tax Service.

Especially since the Associations of Taxpayers of Ukraine is a reliable partner of the Tax Service, with whom we hold many joint events. We understand how important the state support is for business, especially today, so we advise everyone to take advantage of this opportunity" – emphasized Yevhenii Sokur. 

He also informed that the State Tax Service has launched the sub-site "Territory of high tax trust level", where the taxpayers can get acquainted with the project, selection criteria, check their own indicators, learn about the average tax payment rates to the budget and average salary in their industry, etc.
