Employees of the State Tax Service discovered a chain of stores where customers (consumers) received counterfeit fiscal checks

State Tax Service of Ukraine informs that, as a result of control and verification measures, a chain of stores was discovered where customers (consumers) received counterfeit fiscal checks.

During actual audits, individual business entities were identified that operated in stores under the same brand and had registered software registrars of settlement operations (abb. PRRO).

At the same time, selling products total cost of which exceeded 300 UAH and subject to cash payment, buyers (consumers) received counterfeit fiscal checks, which were created using special software that ensured PRRO’s functioning.

It should be noted that such payments were not fiscalized in manner established by the law, and passed by the State Tax Service’s data recording system for registrars of settlement operations, which, in turn, led to distortion of the real volumes of payments and underestimation of the real volume of income of such business entities.

In addition, during actual audits, it was established that the labor of hired employees was used without proper registration of employment relations.

Based on results of these audits, it is expected that significant amounts of financial sanctions will be imposed on business entities.

Also, relevant information regarding detected network that distorted real volumes of settlements will be sent to the law enforcement agencies to provide legal assessment of such actions and organize appropriate measures.
