How to submit the income tax declaration for 2024

Declaration campaign 2025 is ongoing in Ukraine.

Some taxpayers – individuals are obliged to independently calculate and pay personal income tax and military levy by submitting property status and income declaration. This is provided for by the Tax Code of Ukraine.

There are several ways to submit declaration.

Everyone can choose one that is convenient for them:

- in person or by authorized person;

- by mail with a delivery notification and description of the attachment not later than 5 days before the deadline for submission;

- in the electronic form in compliance with requirements of the Laws of Ukraine "On electronic documents and electronic document management" and "On electronic identification and electronic trust services". By the way, this is the most convenient form. To do this, you only need to have a qualified electronic signature (the so-called electronic key) and access to the Internet.

Reminder! State Tax Service’s services allow partially automatic filling of declarations based on the taxpayer’s registration data, information regarding received income, which is available in the State Register of Individuals – Taxpayers, and information regarding the real estate or movable property. This will significantly simplify the process.
