State Tax Service will have single authorized unit for corruption prevention and detection – Government resolution

Single authorized unit for corruption prevention and detection will be introduced in the State Tax Service of Ukraine.

Implementation of such a draft project is provided for by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine № 337 as of 25.03.2025.

The main goal is to subordinate directly to Head of the State Tax Service all authorized units for corruption prevention and detection of territorial bodies of the State Tax Service.

This will contribute to the independence of single authorized unit, help strengthen the taxpayers’ trust towards tax authorities through enhanced anti-corruption measures, transparency and improved management procedures.

By introducing a unified approach to anti-corruption activities in the State Tax Service and minimizing risks of conflict of interest, effectiveness of the anti-corruption counteraction at the national level will be increased. 

Project coordinator is the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine and its participants – structural units for corruption prevention and detection of the apparatus and territorial bodies of the State Tax Service and the National Agency on Corruption Prevention.

Introduced changes are being implemented within implementation framework of the National Revenue Strategy until 2030.
