Ruslan Kravchenko: Trade and processing industry enterprises are the leaders in tax payments for the first quarter of this year

Trade and processing industry enterprises are the leaders in paying taxes in the first quarter of this year. This was informed by Head of the State Tax Service Ruslan Kravchenko in his Telegram channel.

"For January – March 2025, enterprises of these industries paid taxes, levies and payments to the consolidated budget of Ukraine: wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles – 17.2% and processing industry – 17%" – he noted.

Among the payment leaders are also business entities of: 

- financial and insurance activities – 11.7%;

- state administration and defense; obligatory social insurance – 11,2 %.

A separate question is the growth rate. In the first quarter of 2025, compared to the same period in 2024, there is an increase in the following industries:

- processing industry – +47% (+27.3 billion UAH);

- wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles – +29.7% (+19.8 billion UAH);

- state administration and defense; obligatory social insurance – +31% (+13.3 billion UAH);

- professional, scientific and technical activities – +54.2% (+8 billion UAH).

"I am grateful to every entrepreneur for their responsibility, work in extremely difficult war conditions and conscientious payment of taxes" – added Head of the State Tax Service.
