Business can use all 202 RRO models contained in the updated edition of the State register of registrars of settlement operations

State Tax Service of Ukraine approved new version of the State register of registrars of settlement operations on May 16. Currently, it contains 202 RRO models that can be used by business entities. 27 of them have updated software versions. 

It should be emphasized that updating software of individual registrars of settlement operations in no way indicates the impossibility of using the remaining RRO. Changes to register, if necessary, are made quarterly.

Specialists of the State Tax Service reminds that business entities must use registrars of settlement operations in trade, public catering and services and provide consumers with relevant settlement documents for products or services they purchased. New forms of checks are in effect from March 1, 2025. 

What to remember: 

- document will not be accepted as a settlement document if it lacks at least one of obligatory requisites and does not comply with the scope of its purpose;

- reflection of certain obligatory requisites is carried out taking into account specific circumstances of the sale;

- mistakes / inaccuracies in the product title in checks that do not lead to distortion of information about payment transaction are not grounds for invalidating the check.

 Please note that if the RRO software can meet new requirements for settlement documents, there is no need for its obligatory revision. 

It also should be informed that period between the initial registration registrars of settlement operations and date of their exclusion from the State register cannot be less than 7 years. In case of changes in legislative requirements for the RRO use, the manufacturer (supplier) is obliged, if technically possible, to carry out further development of registrar of settlement operations.
