Almost 25.5 billion UAH of the land tax was paid by landowners and tenants of land plots

 Almost 25.5 billion UAH of the land tax payments were transferred to local budgets by landowners and lessees of land plots in January – July 2025. This is almost 15.9% or 3.5 billion UAH more than in the corresponding period last year. 

Revenues amounted to almost 22 billion UAH in January – July 2024.

The biggest amount of funds was paid by payers of:

Dnipropetrovsk region – 4.5 billion UAH,

Kyiv region – 3.7 billion UAH,

Odesa region – 2.2 billion UAH,

Lviv region – 1.7 billion UAH.

Reminder! Land tax is obligatory payment as a part of the property tax. It includes land tax or rent for land plots owned by state and municipal authorities. 

Land owners and land users pay land tax from the origin date (state registration) of the ownership right or right to use land plot. 

In termination case of ownership or right to use land plot, the land tax is paid for the actual period of ownership land or use in the current year.
