Citizens declared 532.5 million UAH of tax rebate for budgetary refunding

 89.8 thousand people used right to tax rebate during January – August of this year. 532.5 million UAH of the personal income tax was declared for budgetary refunding. This is 98 million more UAH compared to the corresponding period last year.

Ukrainians the most often declared expenses for:

- tuition fees,

- insurance and pension contributions,

- mortgage interest payments.

Attention! 

To exercise right to tax rebate, property status and income tax declaration must be submitted to the regulatory authority, where the one is registered by December 31, 2025.

Supporting documents are attached to the declaration: 

- copies of receipts, checks, payment orders,

- copies of service contracts,

- documents on the kinship degree,

- passport, etc.

It is possible to submit declaration in one of the following ways:

а) personally by the taxpayer or authorized person to the State Tax Service’s authority at the registration place;

b) send by mail with a delivery notification and description of the attachment;

c) through the payer’s Electronic cabinet.
