Lesya Karnaukh: almost 7900 citizens and entrepreneurs used services of the Tax Consultant Offices in one month

Almost 7900 clients have already contacted specialists of the Tax Consultants Offices during the first month of work. Majority, namely 60% are citizens, the rest are almost equally divided between individuals-entrepreneurs and legal entities. This was informed by acting Head of the State Tax Service Lesya Karnaukh on the Facebook page.  

“Tax questions should not remain unanswered. Difficulties with understanding and lack of communication are among the reasons for untimely or incomplete tax payment. State Tax Service strives to be more accessible, which is why we opened Tax Consultant Offices and are developing this service. Our new service has been operating in 20 cities for a month now” – said Lesya Karnaukh. 

The most popular consultation topics: calculation and payment of taxes by individuals, Electronic cabinet services, determination of tax debt, income declaration and tax benefits. 

“It is no longer need to look for an acquaintant at the Tax Service who will help to figure things out, wander around offices, pay private specialists for advices. One space for many needs, most of which can be solved in one visit. I recently saw demand for consulting services in our Poltava Office. Demand for the service is growing – almost all consultants were busy” – she added. 

Special service implemented in the Tax Consultant Offices for business is a request for information. It will allow to identify and resolve problematic questions with the Tax Service: debts, discrepancies, amounts of fines, recorded violations. Simple form can be filled out right during the consultation – full answer is provided within 5 working days. 

Along with improving individual approach, which is the main advantage of the Offices, the State Tax Service’s team is also working on expanding explanatory function to larger audiences. It is planned to hold group consultations, thematic seminars and webinars on the most common practical questions on their basis.
