Excise tax revenues amounted to 129.5 billion UAH in 9 months – a third more than last year

General fund of the state budget received 129.5 billion UAH of the excise tax on excisable goods produced in Ukraine and imported to the customs territory of Ukraine in January – September 2025.

Budget additionally received 10.4 billion UAH to the plan or +8.8% to the revenue indicator. Compared to the corresponding period last year, this is 32.2 billion UAH or 33.1% more.

The main growth factor is additional revenues from tobacco products produced in Ukraine and imported, alcoholic beverages and generated electricity.

12.9 billion UAH of the excise tax was transferred in September 2025. Revenue indicator was fulfilled by 100.4%. Additionally, 0.1 billion UAH was transferred to the budget due to payment of the excise tax on produced and imported tobacco products.
