Real estate tax: 9.5 billion UAH was paid to local budgets

Property owners paid 9.5 billion UAH of tax on the real estate other than land plot during January – September 2025. Compared to the corresponding period last year, 22% or + 1.7 billion more UAH, was transferred to local budgets.

The biggest amounts were received by the budgets of:

Kyiv – 1.87 billion UAH,

Lviv – 0.94 billion UAH,

Kyiv region – 0.93 billion UAH,

Odesa regions – 0.91 billion UAH.

In total, 853.4 thousand taxpayers paid real estate tax during January – September.

Reminder: in 2025, the tax is paid by citizens for the reporting year 2024. To independently determine payable amount, it is possible to use online calculator on the State Tax Service’s web portal  https://tax.gov.ua/calculator/realty.

Real estate tax is paid by individuals – owners of:

- apartments with area of ​​​​more than 60 square meters;

- houses with area of ​​​​​​​​more than 120 square meters;

- other various types of housing, including their shares, of ​​​​more than 180 square meters. 

It is possible to view generated tax notifications-decisions in the Electronic cabinet, if a person has electronic key or by using the mobile application "My Tax Service".
