Who has to pay the tax?
Landowners and land users. If you own land or use it on a lease or permanent use basis, the tax is paid by you.
How is the amount determined?
Tax amount is set by the local council. It depends on the purpose of plot, normative monetary evaluation of the land and rates approved in the community. Taxpayers receive information about accrual in tax notification-decision, which is also reflected in the Electronic cabinet.
When to pay?
Individuals pay tax within 60 days of receiving tax notification-decision.
Legal entities pay tax monthly.
Why is it important not to wait long?
Late payment results in fines and penalties, and the debt may be grounds for collection measures. For communities, this also means missing out on funds for basic needs.
How to pay conveniently?
The easiest way is to use the Electronic payer’s cabinet: there it is possible to see accrued amount and immediately make payment online.
