2 thousand new individuals-entrepreneurs due to processing of systematic money transfers: State Tax Service continues to bring sellers out of the shadows

State Tax Service has sent more than 6 thousand requests to the taxpayers this year to clarify origin of funds received through the online platforms. The main goal of this work is to clarify legislative requirements and establish sources of received income.

Due to such measures, almost 2 thousand citizens have already registered as individuals-entrepreneurs. More than 100 administrative protocols have also been compiled regarding involving in entrepreneurial activity without state registration. Audit materials have been sent for consideration to the court at the place of commission of the offenses.

Currently, territorial bodies of the State Tax Service process another batch of information regarding transactions involving receipt of funds for subsequent transfer to addresses of the taxpayers and individuals.

The focus is on those who received regular or big money transfers through the online platforms or non-bank financial institutions. For example, in September, one of the citizens received more than 60 transfers for a total amount of more than 280 thousand UAH. Another received more than 700 transfers for almost 300 thousand UAH in October.

Efforts of tax authorities are aimed at maximally removing from the shadows income of individuals who work without registering their entrepreneurial activities. As well as at stimulating income declaration.

 Each case is considered in detail, taking into account all actual circumstances, including from the perspective of systematicity, as one of the main peculiarities of entrepreneurship.
