Real estate tax: revenues increased by 19.3% in 2025

Tax on real estate other than land plot remains important funding source for local budgets. According to results 2025, it was paid by almost 1.1 million taxpayers. Total revenues amounted to more than 12.7 billion UAH.

This is 19.3% or almost 2.1 billion UAH more than in 2024.

The biggest amounts of tax were paid in the following regions:

- Kyiv city – 2.5 billion UAH,

- Lviv region – 1.3 billion UAH,

- Kyiv region – 1.3 billion UAH,

- Dnipropetrovsk region – 1.2 billion UAH.

Revenues growth indicates increased tax discipline and responsible attitude of taxpayers towards fulfilling their tax obligations.

Revenues are directed to local budgets and used to finance socially important programs, develop infrastructure and improve quality of the communities’ life.
