In 2025, the IT sector increased tax payments to the consolidated budget by 34% compared to the previous years

In 2025, compared to the previous year, the IT payers increased their tax payments to the consolidated budget by more than a third - by 34%. In total - 43.4 billion UAH. And the current residents of the Diia.City provided 33.5 billion UAH, which is almost twice as much as in 2024. This was informed by acting Head of the State Tax Service Lesya Karnaukh on the Facebook page. 

The other day, the State Tax Service’s team met with representatives of Diia.City Union. This union today unites more than 300 companies that contribute to the formation of a powerful IT industry in Ukraine and its successful international competition.

“We frankly discussed challenges facing business today. And what the State Tax Service can do to help everyone who pays taxes as much as possible. In particular, we focused on the plans and priorities of the State Tax Service this year. Filling the budget, tax audits, the introduction of E-audit, possible legislative changes in the tax administration and possible introduction of the VAT for individuals-entrepreneurs. These are just some of the aspects that concern the business today” – she noted.

Participants also discussed possibility of interaction with the technology sector regarding improving the Electronic taxpayer's cabinet. This is one of the main tasks for the State Tax Service to make the Cabinet as convenient and understandable as possible.

Lesya Karnaukh thanked the business for its responsible attitude towards paying taxes, especially in the wartime.

“We are always open to the dialogue and joint work. Only cooperation gives real results for the country” – she emphasized.
