Employers of Donetsk region transferred 8.5 billion UAH of the single social contribution to compulsory state social insurance during 12 months of 2019. Compared to 2018, the country’s budget has additionally received almost 1.2 billion UAH. In particular, almost 878 million UAH was transferred in December 2019.
Main Directorate of the STS in Donetsk region informed that the minimum monthly amount of the single social contribution is 1 039.06 UAH (4723 x 22%) starting from the 1st of January, 2020 according to the adoption of new minimum wage (4723 UAH). As follows, the minimum amount of the single social contribution is 3 117.18 UAH per quarter in 2020 (1039.06 x 3 months) and the maximum amount of the single social contribution calculation base for 2020 is 70 845.00 UAH (4723 x 15).
Please note that single social contribution to compulsory state social insurance is the main source of funding for social insurance funds at the expense of which state social programs receive financing, pensions, financial assistance of citizens etc. are paid.
Therefore, once again, we urge employers of the region to act honestly in fulfilling their constitutional obligations - to pay their tax obligations in a timely and full manner.
