Since the beginning of the year, more than 4.5 thousand of hired employees have been officially employed in Chernihiv region – this is evidenced by the tax and taxpayers’ reporting, also 338 entrepreneurs have been registered.
Legalization of hired labor is under constant control of the State Tax Service, so that special attention is paid to the taxpayers who carry out big amounts of work but have a small number of employees.
Positive tendency in official registration of employees is observed in the majority of conscientious employers and is the result of their conviction in the expediency of timely registration of labor relations of employees and their social protection, as well as measures taken by the tax authorities jointly with the State Labor, Pension Fund of Ukraine, other executive authorities and local self-government bodies to legalize wages and salaries.
The biggest number of employees is employed by the employers and individuals-entrepreneurs that carry out the wholesale and retail trade and providing services to the population.
It is necessary to persuade employers to register employment of their employees even during the audits. Thus, one company which carried out the sawmilling and woodworking, registered employment of 30 hired individuals in Koryukiv district during the audit in 2019.
