Main Directorate of the STS in Donetsk region continues a systematic work with the taxpayers who have the tax debt. Tax specialists have ensured revenues from the tax debt repayment in the amount of 279.7 million UAH over 2019. Also, significant attention is paid to the single social contribution to compulsory state social insurance debt repayment, revenues from which have amounted 552.2 million UAH. Thus, revenues from the tax debt repayment over the past year have amounted 831.9 million UAH.
Tax service of Donetsk region emphasizes that the main focus is to assist the taxpayers in fair conduction of their business activities. But taking into account existence of taxpayers who neglect their obligations and neglect interests of society and the state, the tax authorities are forced to use a set of measures on the tax debt repayment and single social contribution to compulsory state social insurance debt repayment prescribed by the current legislation.
Once again, we remind that payment of taxes and fees in the manner and amount prescribed by the law is a constitutional obligation, compliance with which is a necessary requirement for the sustainable and stable development of the state. Failure regarding timely payment of taxes and fees will inevitably result in the application of financial and penalty sanctions and enforcing tax debt repayment measures.
