Heads of 3674 enterprises that paid wages to employees less than the minimum prescribed by law wage were heard within the framework of joint work of executive bodies at meetings of commissions at the state administrations and working groups at the Tax service of the region during 2019.
Acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Zaporizhzhia region Ruslan Rachynskyi stated that 3589 business entities increased level of wages to their employees. Budgets and social funds have additionally received 2 million 100 thousand UAH of the personal income tax, 200 thousand UAH of the military levy and 2.5 million UAH of the single social contribution.
Compared to the beginning of 2019, the number of business entities that did not comply with the requirements of the labor law and paid less than the statutory wage has decreased by 349.
Also, tax specialists conducted 36 audits of financial and economic activity of business entities – legal entities on compliance with the requirements of tax and labor legislation. Exposed violations resulted in accrual of taxes payable to the budget. Additional revenues have amounted 3 million 63 thousand UAH, including 3 million 170 thousand UAH of the PIT and 400 thousand UAH of the SSC.
