Tax Audit, Transfer Pricing and International Taxation Department of the Main Directorate of the STS in Dnipropetrovsk region carried out only 2123 audits in 2019 – this is 153 audits less than in 2018.
Even that the total number of audits decreased, the amount of 2.447.4 million UAH was additionally accrued – this is 300.3 million UAH more than in the same period last year.
Also, one of the directions in the framework of audits is exposition of the tax evasion schemes and violations of the tax legislation. Thus, in December 2019 the tax specialists completed audit of business entity whose main activity is the construction. Audit detected violations of the tax legislation, accounting, which led to an overestimation of costs and absence of the value added tax accrual.
As a result of the audit, the specified business entity paid more than 1 million UAH.
