Owners of elite cars paid 3 million 681.1 thousand UAH of the transport tax to the local budgets during 2019 in Ternopil region – this is 576.7 thousand UAH more than expected.
Car owners – legal entities paid 2 million 46 thousand UAH. This is 466.6 thousand UAH more than expected. Individuals replenished the local treasury by paying 1 million 635.2 thousand UAH of the transport tax. Actual revenues from them exceeded expected by 110.2 million UAH.
It is interesting fact that 89 individuals and 82 legal entities pay the transport tax in Ternopil region. Herewith, some of them own elite luxury cars. Individuals transferred the biggest amount of the transport tax in Ternopil city (912.5 thousand UAH), Ternopil district (108.3 thousand UAH), Pidvolochysk (79.1 thousand UAH), Husyatyn (68.7 thousand UAH). As of the legal entities, leaders in payment of the transport tax are Ternopil city, Ternopil district and Terebovlya, respectively 765 thousand UAH, 278 thousand UAH and 246 thousand UAH.
Among the elite brands for which the taxpayers pay the transport tax are Land Rover, Range Rover, Mercedes-Bens, Audi, BMW, Lexus and Toyota. Porsche, Bentley, and Jaguar are also owned in the region.
It should be reminded that the tax rate is set at the rate of 25 thousand UAH per calendar year for each car – object of taxation.
