Taxpayers - legal entities of Ternopil region transferred 7.9 million UAH to the state budget and 900 thousand UAH of the corporate income tax to the local budgets in January 2020. In fact, treasuries received additional 3.6 million UAH and 400 thousand UAH respectively. After all, the real payment exceeded the expected by 85.5% and 92.7%.
In total, the consolidated budget of Ukraine received 8.8 million UAH of the income tax. This exceeded the expected revenues by 86.2%, thus the treasury received additional 4 million UAH.
Since the beginning of 2020, the taxpayers have also transferred 298.5 thousand UAH of the net profit (income) of business organizations to the consolidated budget of the general fund – this is almost 9.7 times more than the expected payment.
It should be reminded that procedure for calculating and paying the corporate income tax is defined by Article 137 of the Tax Code of Ukraine. The payment is charged by the taxpayer. Basic corporate income tax rate is 18%.
