Local budgets of Trans Carpathian region received more than 10 million 603 thousand UAH of the real estate tax other than land in January 2020. Compared to the corresponding period of 2019, revenues have increased by 4 million 656 thousand UAH. This was reported by the Main Directorate of the STS in Trans Carpathian region.
The biggest amount of tax was paid by the property owners – legal entities. They transferred more than 10 million UAH to the budget in January 2020 – this is almost 4.5 million UAH more than in the same period 2019. Individuals paid 547 thousand UAH.
Specialists of the Main Directorate of the STS in Trans Carpathian region remind that the real estate tax is accrued by the controlling body on the basis of the information available in databases for individuals; regarding the taxpayers – legal entities, the tax is accrued independently as of January 1st of the reporting year and by February 20th of the same year must submitted to the tax authorities of the region by the location of the taxation object (s), declaring the annual amount in equal shares quarterly.
It should be noted that tax is accrued on the total square of the residential and non-residential property, including their shares. Tax rates were set by decisions of the local councils.
