Acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Kharkiv region Artem Yefremov reported that during January-February 2020 local budget revenues have increased by 2.9 billion UAH – this is 7.1% or 192.2 million UAH more than in 2019.
Herewith, personal income tax is a main source of local budget revenues. Since the beginning of 2020, this tax has been transferred in the amount of 1.6 billion UAH. Compared to the same period in 2019, revenues have increased by 9.4% or 137.2 million UAH.
In addition, during January-February 2020 local budgets of Kharkiv received the single tax in the amount of 735.2 million UAH (+82.1 million UAH), land tax and rent – 302.5 million UAH (+36.5 million UAH), real estate tax other than land – 64.2 million UAH (+6.3 million UAH), excise tax on sale of excisable goods by retailers – 53.7 million UAH (+13.3 million UAH), environmental tax – 22.8 million UAH (+ 0.2 million UAH), license fees – 14.9 million UAH (+5.1 million UAH).
Economic and social stability in the region depends on timely and full implementation of local budget revenues. As follows, payment of taxes is the well-being of residents of Kharkiv region.
