Employers and self-employed individuals transferred 845 million UAH of the single social contribution in January-February 2020. Acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Rivne region Vitalii Chui reported that revenues have increased almost by 113 million UAH compared to 2019.
He emphasized that first of all, the increase in the level of SSC payment is reasoned by a significant increase of labor standards and measures to legalize the labor market. After all, the single social contribution to compulsory state social insurance is the main source of funding for social insurance funds, which finance state social programs, pay pensions, financial assistance to citizens, etc. In addition, more and more employees are interested in deducting the single social contribution from their paycheck, knowing that their future retirement benefits depend on it.
