Tax service of Odessa region has issued 790 licenses for activities in the sphere of fuel turnover since the beginning of 2020. Of these, 728 licenses for storage and 62 for the retail sale of fuel.
If in January 2020 the number of 130 licenses were issued, in February this figure was already 660, it means that the number of issued licenses has increased nearly in 5 times. 4 licenses were have been revoked since the beginning of the year for violations of the rules for conducting business activity in the sphere of fuel committed by the business entities.
At present, Main Directorate of the STS in Odessa region jointly with other supervisory authorities conduct work on the legalization and transparency of business activity on the fuel market in Odessa region.
Thus, Tax service of Odessa region conducted 26 audits of automobile filling stations, as a result of which a number of violations were exposed and penalties amounting 1.8 million UAH were applied during January-February 2020.
Main Directorate reminds that the Taxpayer Service Centers of the Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in the Odessa region accept applications and necessary documents for obtaining licenses for the retail sale of alcohol beverages, tobacco products and fuel for convenience and economy of the taxpayers’ time.
