Taxpayers of Ternopil region paid 549.7 thousand UAH of the transport tax during January – February 2020. Revenues growth exceeded 46.1% than expected. Additionally, local treasuries received 173.4 thousand UAH.
Almost 70% of this amount was transferred by business entities – legal entities. They paid 378.2 thousand UAH of the transport tax – which is 87.9 thousand UAH more than expected or + 176.9 thousand UAH.
Individuals transferred 171.5 thousand UAH of the transport tax to budgets during the specified period.
As a reminder, the transport tax is applicable to cars that have been issued for not more than five years (inclusively) and which average market cost exceeds 375 minimum wages established by the law on January 1 of the tax (reporting) year. This is prescribed by Article 267 of the Tax Code of Ukraine.
Taking into account that this year was determined new size of “minimal” – 4723 UAH, the threshold for “luxury” cars was changed as well. Now its size is 1 771 125 UAH.
All cars (base models) subject to the transport tax are included in the list posted by the Ministry of Economic Development.
