Main Directorate of the STS in Rivne region reported that the VAT taxpayers transferred 406 million 893 thousand UAH of the value added tax to the state budget during 3 months of 2020.
Acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Rivne region Vitalii Chui noted that the VAT increased by 18% or 60.5 million UAH in comparison to 2019. In addition, the VAT share exceeded 39% in the total amount of the state budget revenues.
According to him, such positive dynamics has been achieved both by improving the quality of administration and by actively interacting with business representatives, in particular as regards the prevention of possible risks.
“Increase in the VAT payments, as well as in general budget revenues at all levels, has been achieved due to the proper tax support of the VAT taxpayers and honesty of business representatives. Separately, it should be noted that the electronic format for communication between tax specialists and VAT taxpayers allows timely response to the non-payment risks, prevents the use of minimization schemes and eliminates subjective factor” – commented Vitalii Chui.
