Value added tax was transferred in the amount of 913 million 817 thousand UAH (without data about large enterprises registered at Zaporizhzhia directorate of the Large taxpayers office of the STS) during the 1st quarter of 2020. Acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Zaporizhzhia region Petro Filimonov reported that level of tax payment during the same period in 2019 increased by 117.4 million UAH or 14.7%.
Business entities of Zaporizhzhia region transferred 266.5 million UAH to the state treasury – which is 18.6 million UAH more than in March 2019.
Since the beginning of the year, enterprises and entrepreneurs of Zaporizhzhia city have transferred to the state budget 495 million UAH of the VAT, Berdyansk and prymorski - more than 69 million UAH, Melitopol and Veselivski - 63.2 million UAH, Polohivski, Bilmatski and Rosivski - about 47 million UAH, Vasylivski and Mikhailovsky - 39.8 million UAH, Vilnyanski and Novomykolayivski – 38.6 million UAH, Enerhodarski, Kamyansʹko-dniprovski and Velykobilozerski – 36,9 million UAH, Tokmatski and Chernihivski – more than 33 million UAH, Yakymivski and Pryazovski – 32 million UAH.
In total there are 10405 VAT payers registered in Zaporizhzhia region – which is 565 more than in 2019.
It should be reminded that starting from March 17, 2020 until the last day of the month in which the quarantine expires, the import and / or supply to the territory of Ukraine of products (including medicines, medical devices and equipment) necessary for the implementation of the measures, aimed at preventing the occurrence and spread, localization and elimination of outbreaks, epidemics and pandemics of coronavirus disease are exempted from the VAT. This list is defined by the Resolution of the CMU as of 20.03.2020 № 224.
