Real estate owners of Rivne region transferred 16.4 million UAH to local budgets during January-March 2020 – this is 19% or 2.6 million UAH more than revenues during the same period in 2019.
The undisputed leader in the real estate tax other than land payment, are the property owners – legal entities, they paid almost 14.8 million UAH – which is 2 million UAH more than in 2019.
Contribution made by individuals amounted 1.6 million UAH during the first three months of 2020 – which is 618 thousand UAH more than revenues during the same period in 2019. Citizens will pay tax in 2020 over the past year under rates and benefits of 2019.
Tax authorities of the region will notify individuals about the accrued amount of the real estate tax handing in the tax notification-decision by the 1st of July of the reporting year.
Herewith, amount of benefits for residential real estate to which the tax rate is not applicable are:
60 square meters for apartments / flats, irrespective of their number;
120 square meters for a residential house / houses, irrespective of their number;
180 square meters for various types of residential real estate, including their parcels (in case of simultaneous ownership of the taxpayer of the apartment / flats and residential / home, including their parcels).
At the same time it should be noted that if the taxpayer has object (s) of residential real estate in the property, including its parcel owned by the individual or legal entity – taxpayer with a total area exceeding 300 square meters (for apartment) and / or 500 square meters (for house), the tax amount is increased by 25.000 UAH per year for each such residential property (its parcel) (Sub-paragraph “e”of Sub-paragraph 266.7.1 of the Tax Code of Ukraine).
