Business entities of Ternopil region transferred 929.2 million UAH of the single social contribution to compulsory state social insurance for social needs during the 1st quarter of 2020. This exceeded the expected revenues by 1.3%, so the Pension fund additionally received 11.8 million UAH from Ternopil region. The increase in the single social contribution comparing to January-March 2019 has amounted 77.2 million UAH or 9.1%.
Positive dynamics in payment of the single social contribution by the taxpayers reflects the socially responsible position of the overwhelming majority of insurers and the effective work on counteracting the illegal employment by specialists of the Tax service of Ternopil region. After all, the taxpayers systematically raise awareness among business entities about the need to comply with the payroll legislation.
Only in March, the amount of 323.3 million UAH of the single social contribution was paid – which exceeded the expected revenues by 2%. That is, additional revenues have amounted 6.3 million UAH. Compared to March in 2019, revenues have increased by 9.8% or 28.9 million UAH.
Single social contribution is the basis of pension benefits and other social guarantees. And only with official employment registration and “white” salary there is guaranteed right for vacation leave, insurance against industrial accidents and occupational diseases, payment of disability leaves and accrual of retirement service.
